REBUILD UPDATE
The engineers structural drawings have been issued to the architect for his comment. There were some initial concern on heritage impact for the strengthening proposed for the upstairs flats on the northern elevation (the bedroom walls facing Dorset Street), however this has been managed.
Engineers Harrison Grierson and levelling experts Mainmark have been tasked to co-ordinate designs in order to make sure the structural engineering and proposed re-levelling projects will work together.
Architect Greg Young has largely completed design work, and is awaiting the final engineering so the plans can be finalised.
