“The New Zealand Home” was an 7-part commissioned documentary series airing on Television New Zealand in 2016. Presented by architect Ken Crosson and broadcaster Goran Paladin, the series embarks on a country-wide quest to discover the quintessential New Zealand home.
Episode 4 examines the domestic architecture of the 1950s, using the Dorset Street Flats to illustrate the new modernist style of living taking root in the cities.
