REBUILD UPDATE

The engineers, Harrison Grierson, last Wednesday presented drawings of their engineering proposals to strengthen the buildings, and these are now with project architect Greg Young for comment.
Asbestos reports are all in, and show presence of material in 6 of the 8 flats. This will be dealt with.

REBUILD UPDATE

Following several personnel changes affecting various stages of the rebuild process, we have some recent advancement.
Engineers Harrison Grierson now have a staff working full time on the project (as of last Friday). The detailed design work is around 80% completed, and the draft layouts are aimed to be ready by next Wednesday.
These then go to comment by the project architect (Greg Young) and Heritage, prior to the final structural documentation being prepared for scoping and costing.
Meanwhile the architects have completed the information capture for all of the flats, required for them to prepare a set of as-built plans. And AANZ have completed their assessment and sampling for asbestos in all 8 flats.
Next update due at the end of next week.
